Ensure Every Local Child Has a Happy Halloween by Pitching in at Costumes for Kids
Whether you have little ones who are excited for Halloween or you’re just a child at heart yourself, you’ll enjoy the Costumes for Kids festival on Saturday, October 15th. The festival is equal parts entertainment and philanthropy, inviting guests to enjoy fall-themed activities and also pitch in with a few volunteer projects.
Come to Bethlehem Lutheran Church at noon if you want the full three hours to explore. Start at the volunteer project station, where you’ll help create costumes and goodie bags for local trick-or-treaters who might not have access to these Halloween essentials otherwise. Then grab a bite to eat and some hot apple cider, or head to the silent auction to place a bid. If you have kiddos in tow, help them to paint a pumpkin or make artistic suggestions while they get their faces painted. The whole family will also be able to enjoy music, games, and kid-friendly raffles throughout the course of the afternoon! Tickets to the Costumes for Kids festival are $10 for adults, but children under 5 get in free.
