The Setting is a Fun Place to Go On Valentine’s Day!
Want a fun spot to try for Valentine’s Day? Try The Setting, a new tapas bar on Pennsylvania Avenue. Open since November, The Setting has been earning rave reviews for its one-of-a-kind dining experience, which is internationally inspired and quite creative in terms of presentation. Their signature is a 10-course tasting menu that delights and amazes as the courses go on. One of the biggest features is the skewered A5 wagyu that they sear at the table with leeks and horseradish. You’ll also try bites like pani puri with king crab, prawns served inside a tart shell, and a dessert trio to finish. It’s $140.00 a person, but it’s so much more than just a meal. It’s an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime! They’re only open on weekends so you may have to celebrate before or after the holiday, but it’s worth it.
The other draw is their cocktail menu. Favorites include the Backwards Manhattan with vermouth, amaro, rye, and orange bitters, as well as the Dr. Strange Hops with IPA, pineapple, rum, amaro, and tiki bitters. They’re all insanely delicious and unique! Cheers to an exclusive and special dining experience for your holiday.
